I beg to point out that I have petitioned the Secretary of State for Colonies, with no result other than that my petition has been forwarded to Hongkong, where Mr May is still in office and upheld his vindictive accusations and persecution under his influence.
I also point out that the other members of the Police, whose cases were similar to mine in instigations, were refused pensions in Hongkong on the influence of Mr May, but who were granted pensions after petitioning the Home Government, which was not done until six months later.
Trusting that you will treat my case similar to the others, with eleven years good service in the Police, over four years in the Royal Artillery, and two years as a volunteer member of the Special Police Reserve.
I respectfully request that you grant me a pension.
